The Congregational Church in South Glastonbury sits on the corner of Main and High Streets in the historic village of South Glastonbury. Our facility was recently renovated in 2010 with construction of a new 15,000 square foot addition which includes a social hall, office complex, and education wing. Our facility is fully accessible and furnished.

First floor and lower level

Kitchen ------>
Commercial Grade Kitchen Commercial appliances (convection oven, 8-burner gas stove with 2 lower ovens, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, 3-bay sink, prep sink, hand sink, commercial coffee maker). Also has a large pantry and a serving window to social hall.
Sanctuary ------->
Double aisle; pew seating for 300; upstairs choir loft seats approximately 40.
Meeting Room------->
Room 101- Meeting Room Approx. 16×23, 368 square feet. General meeting room with sofa, large conference table (seats 8) and white board. General seating for up to 18.
Meeting Room------->
Room 008 (LL)- Meeting Room Lower level, approximately 16×23, and 320 square feet. Upright piano, bookcases lining one wall. 6 upholstered chairs plus stackable chairs.
Fellowship Room------->
Room 214- This room overlooks Social Hall. Approx. 14×35 and 490 square feet. Current layout has 2 sofas and 5 chairs on one side. Includes large conference table, chairs to seat 10 and white board. Small conversational table with 2 chairs in the center. Small sink and cabinets behind louvered doors.
Meeting/Classroom 201------->
Room 201- Meeting/Class Room This room has a movable partition with room 202. It is approx. 23×18 and 400 square feet. Flexible room layouts accommodate maximum of 30.
Room 211------>
Room 211- Room is approx. 17×25, 425 square feet. Sofa, loveseat, 3 upholstered chairs, 8 small padded chairs and white board. Accommodates up to 30 people depending on room layout

<------ Social Hall
Approx. 56×28, 1590 square feet. Occupancy up to 200 (standing), seated occupancy based on layout (with tables) 75-90. Seating only, up to 125 Contains chairs, 7 @ 8 foot rectangular tables, 7 @ 6 foot rectangular tables, 5 large round tables and 6 small round high top tables. Also has drop down screen with audio/visual technology built in and a 16’ x 8’ portable stage.

Spacious lobby with wide hallways. Suitable for sign in/display tables or greeter area.
<------ Library
Room 117- Library Approx. 16×24, and 320 square feet. Room is lined with bookcases on one side, small kitchenette with sink and dishwasher. 2 sofas, coffee table and 4 chairs. Occupancy for 10-12.
<------ Classroom
Room 105- Classroom Childcare room. Approx. 16×23, 368 square feet. Has a sink with cabinets.
<------ Basement
The Basement is a more casual meeting space. It has a seating area with couches, chairs and a coffee table and a table that can be used to set up refreshments. Available game tables include 2 ping-pong tables.
<------ Meeting Room 204
Approx. 18×23, or 400 square feet. Room has 5 sofas and 5 large chairs, a coffee table and white board. Accommodates up to 20 people with current layout, can support up to 30 with additional chairs. Small TV screen with HDMI available.
<------ Meeting/Classroom 202
Room 202- Meeting/Class Room This room has a moveable partition with room 202. This room is approx. 23×18 and 400 square feet. Flexible room layouts accommodate maximum of 30 and includes a white board.
<------ Room 218
Room 218- Room is approx. 17×23, 390 square feet. Currently set up for children with small tables, chairs and white board. Accommodates up to 30 people.
